
Many people get flu in winter, but there are things you can do to stop yourself from getting sick.
- Dress in warm clothing.
- Wash your hands regularly, especially after going to the bathroom, and before and after eating.
- Drink plenty of clean, fresh water, and eat healthy foods (not sugary or oily foods).
- Don’t stand too close to some- one who is sick, because you can get flu too.
Speak to your supervisor or a doctor if you start feeling sick. And if you have to cough or sneeze, cover your nose and mouth with your elbow or a tissue, so other people don’t get flu from you.
