The Sanlam Be Active Challenge is open to all Sanlam Group employees including Sanlam, Santam, MiWay, Brolink employees. It aims to encourage active lifestyles and small-team participation. It runs monthly February to November inclusive.

To enter, users complete an online enrolment form and then complete an online steps-per-day tracking form. These forms are self-reporting forms but Sanlam reserves the right to query and or validate data as and if necessary. Full and valid data-entry of all forms is a requirement of competition eligibility. Users may use any pedometer device (including smart-phone apps) to count their steps per day.

Winners are selected after the end of each month as follows:

• Three individual winners each month, selected by random draw from users who have entered at least 10 days of steps-per-day data. R500.00 voucher prize per winner. No person may win more than once over the duration of the challenge.
• In the event that fewer than 50 people and or fewer than 50 teams enter Sanlam reserves the right to not award any prizes.
• Privacy: this campaign requires that some of your data (identifying data and steps per day data) is shared with those involved in awarding prizes etc. By taking part you consent to this.

The competition is run by Sanlam Health, whose decisions are final.
