But not always. Let\u2019s explain: stress can be seen as \u201cnormal\u201d and even healthy is some situations. Some stress &amp; nerves ahead of a job interview, for example, can keep us alert and on our toes, which is a good thing. Stress can stimulate and even drive us to do better, achieve more, etc. This is not all bad. The problem is that stress so often exceeds our coping capacity and becomes damaging, both physically and mentally. So for most of us, most of the time, stress is a very real problem. Stress can cause, or worsen:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Anxiety and nervousness<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Concentration ability<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Muscle tension<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Headaches (tension headaches)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">High Blood Pressure<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">High Cholesterol<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Abdominal fat storage (an important risk factor for diabetes)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Weakened immunity and more frequent illnesses<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Fatigue and low energy<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Mood changes and depression<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Accelerated ageing<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">So all in all, it is a very real problem and not something to take lightly.
